Social Media Campaign
My expertise as an author and medical writer in health and wellness are highlighted by the publication of my Amazon Best-Selling book, Not My Buddy, a chronicle of my survival over Chronic Giardiasis and my physical health triumphs during the long arduous process of recovery. Prior to the release of my memoir, I developed a brand strategy from concept development and presentation to execution and the national launch of a social media and email marketing campaign. I wrote all copy and designed all graphics. The goal was to increase awareness and raise book sales within the audience niche. The purpose of the social media campaign, “Twelve Weeks of Teasers,” was to entice prospective readers for pre-order sales and gain traction for the book launch. Each teaser was chosen to influence the various demographics of the audiences niche. The digital platforms included: Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. I used different digital platforms such as HootSuite (used to pre-schedule social media posts) and MailChimp (used for email marketing campaign to continue momentum for the existing 100+ email subscribers).
